I'm posting a song a day from the Rise Up Singing songbook, which you may or may not know. It's a pretty invaluable resource for song leaders, and useful for anyone who likes to sing in groups. The book doesn't include the melodies to the songs, just the lyrics and some chords, so I’m trying hard to find the tunes I don’t know, learn them, and post them on YouTube for anyone to learn. That’s where these videos are hosted; the blog is just pretty packaging.

Who's Gonna Shoe Your Pretty Little Foot?
Traditional
Possibly related to Child Ballad #76, "Lass of Rock Royal"
Rise Up Singing chapter: Ballads and Old Songs, p.15
C - / F C / F C / G C
Who's gonna shoe your pretty little foot?
Who's gonna glove your hand?
Who's gonna kiss your red ruby lips
And who's gonna be your man?
Papa can shoe my pretty little foot
Mama can glove my hand
Sister can kiss my red ruby lips
I don't need no man
I don't need no man, poor boy
I don't need no man
Sister can kiss my red ruby lips
'Cause I don't need no man
